East Van Auto Recyclers buys whole vehicles from people across East Vancouver and the rest of the city. We don't sell used parts, run a U-pull yard, or do roadside calls. That keeps the job simple: you have a car you want gone, we give you a price, and a truck comes to get it.
Most of what we buy has been parked for a while. The insurance lapsed, the battery went flat, or the repair estimate came back higher than the car is worth. Some cars come from family estates, some from small businesses retiring a van, and some from strata stalls with a deadline on them.

Send The Details

Get A Price
We price it on weight, how complete it is, the catalytic converter, the model and how easy it is to reach. You hear the number before anything is booked.
Book A Time
Same-day is often possible if you call early. Otherwise we pick a time that suits you.
Get Paid
The driver checks the VIN and your ID and pays you by cash or e-Transfer. Then you sign the registration and ICBC's Transfer/Tax Form. The driver brings the form.
The price only changes if the car isn't what was described: a different vehicle, a major part missing that wasn't mentioned, or no paperwork showing it's yours. If that happens, you hear it before anything is loaded, and you're free to say no.
Every Car We Buy Goes For Recycling
Cars leave on our trucks for recycling, not for a lot down the road. Fluids are drained, the battery and tires go to their own recycling streams, usable parts come off, and the body is crushed and shredded so the steel can be melted down again.
Where We Pick Up
We're based in Kensington-Cedar Cottage and pick up across Vancouver. We don't buy vehicles outside the Lower Mainland.
